CHECK OUR GIG LIST AGAIN SOON... NEW DATES ARE BEING ADDED ALL THE TIME!

UPCOMING GIGS - 2024
November 20  Landmark ON MAIN STREET, Port Washington

Join us for Afternoon T.E.A. at the Landmark! GFR Trio (Mike, Frank and Susan) will be taking the stage from 2-3PM with a fun set of forgotten favorites of the 60's and 70's. We hope to see you there.

December 3  JUST WILD ABOUT HARRY at the Landmark on Main Street, Port Washington

Just Wild About Harry - a tribute to Harry Chapin - is back at the Landmark for an evening of Harry's songs performed by a host of Long Island musicians. Part of the evening is to bring awareness of the work of the Harry Chapin Food Bank / Long Island Cares, so please bring a non-perishable food donation to the show. All of Harry's hits, and some lesser-known 'deep cuts,' will highlight his songwriting skills and have you singing along.

SOME PREVIOUS GIGS:

2023 January 15   LONG ISLAND MUSIC AND ENTERTAINMENT HALL OF FAME,
Stony Brook, NY

Grand Folk Railroad will be taking the stage at the new LIMEHoF museum from 3-4PM. Come and check out the brand new museum featuring displays of original musical instruments, famous awards, apparel, and other memorabilia from many of Long Island’s favorite artists. And then take a break to join us in the theater for an hour of GFR-flavored favorites. The museum is open from Noon to 5PM.

2024 May 17-19   MONTAUK MUSIC FESTIVAL

GFR will be heading out to the Montauk Music Festival for our 12th year! We'll let you know the schedule as it gets closer, but we can assure you that everyone will be having a great time dancing and singing along for three wonderful, perfect Montauk days! If you've never been to the festival, we highly recommend you book yourselves a place to stay and join GFR and the other 100-or-so acts that perform all weekend long in the bars, coffee shops, restaurants, outdoor stages, sidewalks... just about everywhere. It's a blast!

2024 June 5  EMMA S. CLARK MEMORIAL LIBRARY,
Setauket, NY

Favorite Songs from the Sixites and Seventies

Afternoons at the library are extra special... especially when we're playing a curated mix of favorites from the 60s and 70s. Some of the best songs by some of the most creative songwriters ever were written during that era, and we love them all! We want to thank the Emma Clark Library for having us. It was a wonderful afternoon with a great audience and a whole lot of singing along!

2023 September 24  GALLERY NORTH, EAST SEATAUKET, NY

We are honored to be asked back each year to help entertain the crowds at this amazing outdoor art show, along with several other great bands.
