Grand Folk Railroad brings on the fun with a quirky, eclectic/eccentric mix of forgotten favorites, 60s and 70s pop gems, one-hit wonders, old-school country, contemporary folk, and the inspiring songwriting of lead singer Susan Schwartz-Christian. With a make-every-note-count approach to performing, a vast eclectic repertoire, and questionable regard for musical traditions, Grand Folk Railroad blurs the lines between pop, rock, folk and singer/songwriter genres.

SOME PREVIOUS 2022 GIGS:

September 3   BRADSTOCK, Camp Pa Qua Tuck
Center Moriches, NY

We are so excited that Bradstock is back this year! It's two days of peace, love and music, with 3 stages, a killer line-up of bands, camping, food, and fun. The best part... it's for a great cause - Camp Pa Qua Tuck for children and adults with disabilities. Come and join us. We'll be on the Acoustic Stage from 4:45 to 5:45 PM on Saturday. See you there!

September 12  JUST WILD ABOUT HARRY,
Harry Chapin Lakeside Stage, Eisenhower Park, NY

Each year, since 2005, a tribute is held at the venue where Harry was headed when he died in a motorcycle accident in 1981. And GFR has been honored to take part in this great show many times, helping to raise awareness for Long Island Cares, the food bank Harry Chapin started. Grab a lawn chair, and some non-perishable food to donate, and join us for this evening of togetherness and music in Harry's memory.

GFR will be back at this incredible 2-day art show featuring some of the finest art and crafts from regional artists and artisans, food vendors, activities for kids, and of course, lots of great music. We'll be on stage Sunday afternoon (exact time TBA).

And we mean to have everyone dancing and singing along for three wonderful, perfect Montauk days! If you've never been to the festival, we highly recommend you book yourselves a place to stay and join GFR and the other 100-or-so acts that perform all weekend long, in the bars, coffee shops, restaurants, outdoor stages, sidewalks... just about everywhere. It's a blast!
